1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Cocktails & Canapes website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our website or use our services.

2. Catering Services

All catering services are subject to a signed event agreement between Cocktails & Canapes and the client. Pricing, menu selections, and service details are confirmed in writing prior to the event date. Final guest counts and menu changes must be communicated at least 14 business days before the event unless otherwise agreed.

Menu items and pricing are subject to change based on seasonal availability, market conditions, and supplier pricing.

3. Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due according to the schedule outlined in your event agreement. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as outlined in the event agreement.

4. Cancellations & Modifications

Cancellation terms are detailed in your individual event agreement. Generally, cancellations made within 30 days of the event date may result in forfeiture of the deposit and partial charges for services already arranged. We reserve the right to modify menus due to ingredient availability with suitable substitutions of equal or greater value.

5. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements

It is the client's responsibility to inform Cocktails & Canapes of any known food allergies or dietary restrictions of their guests prior to the event. While we take every precaution to accommodate allergies and dietary needs, our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish, and soy. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

6. Liquor Service

All beverage service complies with the British Columbia Liquor Control and Licensing Act. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated. The client is responsible for obtaining any required special event permits or temporary liquor licenses for their venue. Our staff are Serving It Right certified as required by BC law.

7. Liability

Cocktails & Canapes carries commercial general liability insurance. We are not liable for damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to venue issues, weather conditions, third-party vendor failures, or acts of nature. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Cocktails & Canapes and is protected under Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
