C&C catered two events I ran during the June FIFA season in Vancouver, and I cannot praise them highly enough. It was a short-notice catering request, and Alexia, who I liaised with throughout, was incredibly responsive, clear and concise in her communication, which allowed plans, proposals and refinements to happen in a very tight window.
I have to single out Alexia for how wonderful she was to work with. After our first event, she preemptively raised changes to the proposal to cut unnecessary costs we'd discovered, and she was consistently receptive to short-notice adjustments, whether weather shifts or changes to attendee numbers. It felt like a genuinely cooperative relationship, rather than one where every penny was being extracted.
The food was superb, the communication was impeccable, and the service was wonderful. I would highly recommend working with them. In my experience, their staff are exemplary.

We had such an amazing experience with C&C for our wedding! The food was incredible, and we received so many compliments from our guests throughout the night. Everything was delicious, but the sablefish in particular was a huge hit — so many people went out of their way to tell us how much they loved it!
A special shoutout to Alexia, who was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. She was so helpful and responsive, and we really appreciated all of her support leading up to our wedding.
The team on the day was also fantastic. The bartenders were amazing and so much fun, and our guests absolutely loved them! One of the catering servers was especially wonderful to us throughout the evening, continually checking in and making sure we had food whenever we had a chance between everything going on. It was such a thoughtful touch and meant a lot to us on such a busy day.

We used Cocktails and Canapés for our event last week. It was our first time working with them, and we came through a referral (for which I’m so grateful!). I had been coordinating with Taylor for a few months leading up to the event.
Our event was small and held in a warehouse space, and Taylor helped me create a truly lovely experience. We had a few minor snags along the way, but she remained calm, proactive, and incredibly helpful throughout. She made excellent recommendations to keep the event elegant and even helped bridge gaps with additional suppliers when needed.

Alexia was an amazing manager who was able to make all the pieces of our blanketing ceremony for Squamish Nation run smoothly from setting up the tables to providing delicious food. They were understanding and patient of issues we had during planning and were able to accommodate every small detail we needed. We had a few guests with babies that we didn't expect but they went above and beyond acquiring some highchairs from a local business they had a relationship with so that our children could sit comfortably and safely. When one of our guests requested coffee, something we didn't plan to provide, their team went and got extra supplies for our tea station to include the last minute coffee request and they provided this service free of charge even though we were ready and willing to cover the extra cost we expected. We will definitely be using their service again!

The pork belly is still one of the best things we've ate all year! The servers were invisible, yet none our guests were left wanting. It felt amazing to be so taken care of by all their staff when we arrived at the reception after the whirlwind that is a wedding ceremony. We could not recommend Cocktails and Canapes highly enough for delicious food and impeccable service from start to finish.
weddingI don’t even really have the words to accurately describe how amazing this team was. The menu for our wedding was absolutely incredible and working with Cocktails & Canapés was a dream. Our friends and family are still talking about the meal they had at our wedding and how much fun they had chatting with the team throughout the evening.

corporateThe Cocktails & Canapes team did a great job for a private event (for 35 guests) that I hosted at my home this weekend. My dealings with the event planner during the weeks leading up to the party were all professional and helpful, as was the site visit the weekend before the event.
The catering team outdid themselves - excellent food and service. Staff were professional and courteous and all of my guests were very complimentary of the food, the food service and presentation, the cocktails and the event generally.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

From setting all the details for my menu with some dietary restrictions to the fast set up and take down day of event; everything was perfection! I went with a plated Canapes style service. Chef Jason and Gary are a dynamic duo, plating the most perfect bites in such limited space was so impressive. Lexi, who made every new round of course coming out so exciting and was so much fun to chat wi the and join in on the festivities! Chef Jason is very engaging with my guests and was not shy about answering any question about his edible artistry. 12/10 service! This is the second time I’ve hired Chef Jason for his services. Every bite and every moment was a dream! You would be crazy to not hire this company and team for your next event!

On September 10, 2022 Cocktails & Canapés catered an offsite dinner party to pay gratitude to some of our valued donors. From the initial inquiry, through the contracting phase and leading up to the event, Taylor was amazing and provided prompt and exceptional service. She really listened to our needs and was able to provide ideas and suggestions during the planning process that made the event top notch. The onsite staff were very professional and lovely to work with. Our Event Manager, Miranda, was keen and attentive and ensured our vision came to life. Chef Reid was delightful, as was the entire event and catering team. Our guests remarked on the amazing food and how much they enjoyed the evening. We will not hesitate to contact Cocktails & Canapés for our future offsite event needs. Thank you so very much for making this evening the success that we hoped for.
corporateWhat can I say... What an incredible experience. The company I work for decided to host our annual holiday party in-house this year. While there was some hesitation at first from folks who had a more traditional sit down dinner in mind, C&C delivered and blew them away. Alex was an amazing coordinator who was always available to respond to any questions and assist with defining our food options, staffing and rentals. She was also super detail oriented and made personalized menus for the bar. She even made the effort to come help set up the day of the event.
The day of the event, the team came in and completely transformed our office space into a beautiful cocktail lounge. Everything flowed seamlessly and there were no issues at all (at least to my knowledge, which also speaks on the teams professionalism and ability to adapt to their surroundings). Miranda was really great at keeping me in the loop with how the night was going and I really felt like I could kick back and enjoy the evening with my coworkers.
The food was phenomenal. The craft cocktail was a hit. Service was attentive and intentional. There aren't enough words to describe how pleased we all are with how the party turned out. It was such a success that there was talks of a having quarterly gathering of this nature moving forward.
