Catering at Heritage Hall
1915 heritage Main Street landmark — grand hall with original woodwork, stained glass, and restored proscenium stage.
Heritage Hall at 3102 Main Street is one of Mount Pleasant's defining landmarks — a 1915 former postal station designated Heritage A by the City of Vancouver. After decades of community use, it's now one of the city's most-loved grand-hall event venues, sought after for its original character and generous scale.
The main hall features original woodwork, stained-glass windows, and a restored proscenium stage — the kind of heritage detail modern venues can't manufacture. The scale accommodates sizeable weddings and corporate dinners without feeling cavernous.
Mount Pleasant location puts Heritage Hall in the middle of Main Street's restaurant + arts corridor — ideal for events where the after-party carries on at nearby venues. Street parking plus transit access keeps guest logistics easy.

Event logistics
Operational notes from our coordinators — the things that affect how a quote comes together for this venue.
- Stage
- The restored proscenium stage makes speeches, live music, and ceremony moments work naturally — guests don't crane to see.
- Kitchen
- Many Vancouver venues have warming or prep kitchens only (not full hot-cooking lines). We bring our own mobile induction + convection units when needed — already factored into the per-guest rate for this venue.
- Bar
- For venues without an in-house liquor licence, we coordinate through our hospitality partners under a BC Special Event Permit — one itemised wine/beer/spirits line on your quote, no hidden markup.
- Acoustics
- Heritage buildings can be echoy. For events with speeches or amplified music, we recommend discussing sound reinforcement with your AV vendor early.
- Parking
- Street parking on Main + side streets, plus metered. For 150+ guest events we recommend encouraging transit or shuttle arrangements.

FAQ
About catering at Heritage Hall
What events suit Heritage Hall best?
Mid-to-large weddings (150–250 guests), corporate holiday parties, charity galas, arts organisations, and any event that benefits from the heritage character plus stage.
Is Heritage Hall climate-controlled?
Yes — the building has full heating; summer cooling is more limited than modern venues. For peak-summer weddings we discuss cooling strategies (open windows, fans, portable AC) with the venue team.
